the_don SG ache covers a lot of thing bah or u can describe in other words like "a dull pain" (suan) "a sharp pain" (tong) "a sudden pain" (tu ran hen tong) "a long term pain" (tong heng jiu le)
honeymouse SG Is the pain like the those you get from sensitive teeth (when having ice, cold drinks). If that's the case, you should go and see the dentist.
shinta SG the doc told me to go see a dentist at the poly clinic, get a referal letter go specialist i think it'd be around 1 year before i get to see the specialist the pain's more like those u get from chewing gum for more than 10 hours non stop

shinta SG dun think i got that.. the doc pressed against my jaw... only the left side hurts.. the right side was ok... i can chew n talk.. it feels the same when i just keep my mouth closed... only when i open my mouth wide... den it hurts like no tml
shinta SG poly clinic can get me an apptmt in 6 mths tt is if i can go down to the polyclinic at all den after that a few more mths to wait before i get to see specialist
shinta SG i dunno if mine's tm jaw.. but doc said its an out of place kinda thing cos i told him once i yawned and opened my mouth too big.. and crack since den my jaw felt funny
elindra SG It could be a misalignment of the jaws then ...... If it is the joint near the ear yes it is TM jaw I had that problem after the auto-accident and it was so painful I was on painkillers for like 4 mths Then it got slightly better but still hurt and after 1 yr the problem was gone

elindra SG Sigh Sounds like it Better see a doctor for it Btw TM jaw is hard to cure It can take a few weeks to go away..months or even years Btw I had to chew holding my jaw when I was on pain killers
honeymouse SG Before you go and see a dentist or specialist, how about try to take some anti-infammatory tablets like neurofen just for the moment to ease the pain. Just make sure you read the label before taking it. You need to have some food with it.
shinta SG doc gave me some pain killers... but most pain killers are too mild now.. cos i was takin a lot of those 3 years back migraine problem
